Hi Willow I have a list of mines in the forest which are just a series of grid references -dont know where they came from but the following reference is for one called Old Fire Engine Pit,whether this is the same one I dont know and cant tell.The grid is SO 6490 1559.I hope this is of some help to you meanwhile I'll try to track down where I got them from.
