Thanks for taking the time to look up all this information! I, too, thought that a William and Elizabeth could possibly be the parents of James. Will investigate your info further. Was also searching for any British/Welsh distant relatives who may wander onto this forum. This Rudge family certainly ranged far & wide from their Forest Of Dean beginnings--to the states of Victoria & South Australia, Pennsylvania, Idaho, and California.
