The Forest of Dean Family History website sets the standard for others to follow. I shall be eternally grateful to David for his vision and enthusiasm. Without this site my research into my Forest ancestry would have encountered many more brick walls.

I am pleased that I was able to complete some transcriptions for the site and found David's encouragement invaluable. He'll be greatly missed.
