There are a number of references in the British Newspaper Archives to a Hill House, Staunton. However, these seem generally to be about the other Staunton, a short distance north-east of Newent, formerly in Worcestershire, but now in Gloucestershire. So that I don't get everyone confused, is this a red herring?
