Henry ELSMORE's brother George Richard ELSMORE and ]Minnie NELMES came out to New Zealand in 1924 on the SS Tainui to Auckland 1924 with six of their seven children, one of the children later when on to be Sir Lloyd ELSMORE.
Sir Lloyd Elsmore KBch, OBE, JP. Mayor of Manukau city from 1968-1983. Mayor of Ellerslie borough 1956-1962. Born January 16, 1913-died November 12, 2007.and was made a Knight Bachelor on 06 May 1982 by Sir David Beattie New Zealand Governor General at Government House Wellington New Zealand.

Hi, was wondering if George worked on Dartmoor Prison as his children were born in Princetown and the Prison was reopened in 1851.As his job was a building surveyor he could have been party to making it habitable again.
