Bakery in FOD (General)
Thank you forest, although my family names of Gardner and Lane crop up as bakers, perhaps they worked at the places you have mentioned.
Wherever it was I think my father must have been captivated by the smell of fresh baked bread, at the age of 14 he was apprenticed to a baker for four years and later become a Master Baker.
