Bakery in FOD (General)

In Lydbrook there was Reg Fear Baker at Viaduct Stores, Beards Bakery, Central Lydbrook. On Joys Green Bert Harvey was the baker at the Post Office. My husband's first job when he left School in 1947 was helping make the bread, he delivered it around the Moorwood and the Coppice with a donkey which had baskets known as pots on his sides, when the donkey felt hungary he would put his head around and help himself to a loaf!
