Excuse this intrusion but my interest in this is that my wife and I are the current owners of a large part of the Burgham Foundry site (Upper Furnace)and we often get members of the family calling by. I think the one you need to draw in is Brian Burgham who is a member of this site and who I know has been responsible for past threads. I'm surprised he hasn't responded but he could well be on holiday.

I presume you have picked up that the Burgahams were also brewers here as well - Arthur Burgham (known locally as 'Father Burgham') was the last. There are also another unconnected Burgham family of Founders who operated on the Lyd above Lydney.
