Yes, Chestnuts lodge ( original ) was high up in the Inclosure at over 600ft above sea level, atop Chestnuts Hill.

Chestnuts Farm lay to the east

Chestnuts Cottage lay to the west near Greenway Farm, on the Littledean - Green Bottom road.

A later Forestry house was built in the 1960's on the Littledean - Green Bottom roadside. No longer in Forestry hands but a private dwelling
