Albert HAINE / ROGERS 1868-1926 - suspect from Donhead Wilts (General)

Thank you for all this information. I thought we might be getting somewhere with Albert HAINE (Hain/Haime) but as I tried to fit the pieces together, I found a family tree for Albert Haime and Victoria (Atkins) HAINE where she - as you rightly said - died 1937 in Swindon and Albert died two years later in 1939. So 'my' Albert is not this Albert! The search continues ...

<sucking eggs>

cross check the tree against BMD and real certs etc

It might be true, it may not

best fit for 1939 death in Wiltshire is :-

Name: Albert Thomas Haines
Date of Registration: Jan-Feb-Mar 1865
Registration district: Warminster
Inferred County: Wiltshire
Volume: 5a
Page: 151

Name: Albert T Haines
Birth Date: abt 1864
Date of Registration: Oct-Nov-Dec 1939
Age at Death: 75
Registration district: Warminster
Inferred County: Wiltshire
Volume: 5a
Page: 371

I guess this is the record being put forward

Name: Albert Haime
Birth Date: abt 1868
Date of Registration: Jul-Aug-Sep 1939
Age at Death: 71
Registration district: Sturminster
Inferred County: Dorset
Volume: 5a
Page: 289

Shaftesbury or Swindon would have been more encouraging, not impossible
