Littledean 1841 William EDGE & Richard NEWMAN (General)
In the 1841 census, William Edge (?) is an innkeeper on Broad St. My ancestor, Richard Newman is living next to him as a Blacksmith. Earlier in the century, the parish records state Richard Newman is an innkeeper. I am wondering if anyone has information regarding who owned the inns in Littledean in the 1800-1850 era? Which inns are still standing and/or operating? Thanks in advance.
