Littledean - Pubs (Broad Street) - William EDGE (General)

Thank you for your lengthy reply. It helped immensely. I did visit Little Dean back in 2005 but didn't have a "great knowledge" of the pubs/inns and that my ancestor had an inn. I am learning so much from all your replies. I live in the United States and sometimes your terminology is just a bit different than ours. I just got back from work and dug into Google earth and I believe found the house you were talking about. It's kinda cool to visit from the states without leaving my house. I am interested in getting a book on the pubs of the area and you mentioned Heather's book. I see there are a few other ones, any of them good? Jon Hurley, Geoff Sandles have them also, just wondering if one is better than the other. There is so much to learn but there is much out there, I just need to know where to look in the UK for that info. I'll check out the Pub listing also for more background data. Again, can't say enough about your help.
