Saysom/Saysum and particularly Alice (General)

Nothing would surprise me when it comes to variations in spelling. If you search the parish records on here for Saysom with the soundex facility applied, you'll get numerous variations in a total of 349 entries, so I dare say Taysome or the like would get you something similar - although you appear to be dealing with the "English" side of the Severn more than the Forest side.

I haven't seen any source in my family information starting it with "T".
