Thanks to you all for helping clear up the Inquest query.
However this leaves me with the question of the aforementioned Benjamin WRIGHT MRCS which is beginning to asnnoy me now, it would be nice to find an academic ancestor however distantly related.
I don't think he is one of the few Ben Wrights included within the FoD PRs.

As well as officiating at Westbury On Severn area Inquests (in this site) around 1936, I've searched the British Newspapers Archive site and found him again officiating at Inquests regarding Severn drowning(s) in spring 1945.
The Gloster Journal states "Doctor Benjamin Wright of HUNT'S HILL Westbury on Severn".

Hunt's Hill is just north of Westbury village towards Chaxhill...

Please does anyone know of how I might further research this person ?.
Does Ancestry or any of the other subscription sites carry databases of Members of the Royal College of Surgeons, for example ?.
Is there a database of old GPO phone books, either online or at a public Library ?

Meanwhile I shall try and contact the existing GPs at Westbury in the hope they may know something.

Many thanks, Jeff.
On behalf of my mother, who's always Wright even when she's wrong... ;-)
