Looking at the Gloucestershire BMD site there are 2 possible birth registrations for Mary Ann Marshall as follows:

However when we examine the Census returns we find that Mary Ann daughter of James and Elizabeth is not with them in the 1871 Census and I suspect she died. Here is a possible burial:
