Wigpool Iron Mine Accident 1865 (General)

I have recently become a member of FODFHT and I am finding the site very useful in tracing my many ancestors from the Forest.
However, there is one area where I should appreciate some assistance:
My Great, Great Grandfather, Cornelius Marfell was killed in an accident at the Wigpool Iron Ore Mine on, or about, 12th May 1865.
I am very interested in locating two things:
1). Contemporary local newspaper coverage of the event.
2). A photograph of the mine at the date of the accident.

If any members of the site could direct me to a source(s) of either of these pieces of information, I should be most grateful.
