Mike, Thank you for this information. I had not seen it before. When you mention "BNS", does this indicate British Newspapers ? or could you provide me the link to the site ?
This information is exactly what I was looking for to provide a link to one of the Richard Toomey's of Churcham.
Do you know what castle the newspaper report is referring to. As i live in Australia, my knowledge of English Castles is limited.
Finding the connections to old ancestors really gives me a buzz and also headaches as more possibilities are opened to explore.
