Dear everyone - thank you all SO MUCH. The time and the work that you've all put into helping a total stranger has absolutely floored me. Can't thank you enough!!!

The information here is amazing. Yes indeed, they did end up in the midlands, where my grandparents were both born, and my great grandmother did become Winifred Aston. My grandmother has mentioned Ivanhoe St to me so seeing it in print like that was very strange.

All of this is so appreciated I can't even tell you.
