Gundy family Whitchurch/Tretire/Dixton Newton (General)

Dear Jeff,Thankyou for all of this.The apprenticeship and the sheep stealing were very interesting.
I believe that Walter b.~1759 is likely to have had parents Walter and Sarah(Pratt).Walter and Sarah married on 30/nov/1749 in Ross.
Someone contacted me on rootschat about another Walter Gundy who was living in Whitchurch in 1871 aged 40.Walter and Sarah Clayton had a son,Walter,b.1827 and I initially thought this might be him in 1871.I looked on ancestry and the Walter b.1831 was down as having parents Thomas Gundy and Ann Brown.Thomas and Ann married on 12/nov/1807 in Llanvihangel Ystern Llewern in Monmouthshire(close to Whitchurch)
