Henry Probert - Born 1823 - Lydbrook (General)

This is my first posting to this site and have been interested in the threads over the last few days relating to 'The Priory' and 'Frederick Probert drawing' the inquest on William and Thomas Proberts Will. As Probert was my mothers maiden name. I have been gathering info on the family and seeing these threads I decided to post something myself.

My Grandfather was Henry Milson Probert born 1868 Osbaston Mon. He married a Mary Jane Ritching/Riching in 1898 Cardiff. They lived in Ross on Wye where my mother was born and he died in 1925 and is buried in St Marys church. My Grandmother died 1950 in Ross.

His father was Henry Probert born 1823 in Lydbrook. He married a Mary Ann Perkins in 1846 - Parish of Matherne Mon.

His father (stated on copy of marriage cert) was a Thomas Probert and I believe he married an Elizabeth Ambrey in 1805 English Bicknor.

My research so far has mostly been on the internet via Census and this site - I live on the Wirral but at some stage I hope to make a visit to the Forest to confirm my findings.

Does anyone think there might be some family connection with the Proberts from the threads? A newbie to all this so hope posting reads ok.
