Calculating distances - Parish Locator on this site (General)
Parish locator programme is also linked to via this website. Go to Resources and Links option from home page and look under Towns and Villages tab.
I agree it is useful and helps to identify which church records are close enough to look at it if your ancestors dont appear in the most obvious parish.
