Hi

I'm attempting to locate information on:

Jack Tresham

Olive Tresham (I belive her maiden name was Olive Elizabeth Smith of Little Dean, she also became a Millard later on and later still ran away to Canada with a Captain Jospeh Caldwell (Royal lancers I think), he had two or 3 daughters to his commanding officers daughter already and they contacted my Grandmother some years ago (after his death in Calgary Canada). Unfortunatly she replied and threw out the letter). Olive Tresham also pretended to be Olive Beale married to Samual Millard at the Independent Chapel Littledean 1914. I have the marriage certificate which she used to gain a pension in Canada and am pretty sure its not hers. I am however pretty certain that she was born or lived in or near lItle Dean for a significent time during her childhood.

Lovell Glendower Tresham (I have located his existing military records as he ended up in Aust in the AIF 8th Div RAE, taken in the fall of Singapore, Changi, Burma death railway then torpedoed and killed by US submarine Sealion in 1944; Rakuyo Maru incident). He was born: 4 may 1906 GLOUCESTERSHIRE CHELTENHAM.

I'm not sure when or how he came to be in Australia but have him on the electrol roles here from 1930 and 1936. He married Stella Burton (I have her birth cert coming as she was born in Thrapston Kettering, Northamptonshire, UK and came to Aust in 1917).

I'd appreciate any insight or links to these people that anyone might have.

Regards

Lawrence Finn
