Railway to Whitchurch (General)

Thank you for your reply. I cannot put my hand on the reference but I seem to recall a mention of travel by railway to Liverpool/Birkenhead in one of the early family bibles or diaries. I was curious to know where the nearest railway station would have been from their home in the Whitchurch/Goodrich area when the family departed in 1856.
