I am having to search my CD by Christian name 'Job' as the surname is spelt different ways.... and seeing by the census', Job was a Bricklayer. (1841 census, Gloucs. St Mary De Lobe Job EYNON - 45 Bricklayer)

Looks like the surname started off as ONIONS (or transcribed as)
