Sarah Coopey 1879, Ruardean, Churcham. Father's name? (General)

I've just logged on and seen slowhands' last post - there are hardly words!
***THANK YOU*** slowhands!
I had trawled through the census' myself and come up with similar records. The detail that is troubling me, is that on the parish record for the marriage of Sarah Coopey and Tom Mansell, Sarah's father is listed as Thomas Coopey.
The only census I can find has her father as Joseph Coopey.
Is there any way I can verify the original parish record says Thomas?
I've noted a marriage between what I assume is Sarah's sister Martha, and Tom's brother George - and this lists Martha's name as Joseph. These were the witnesses for Sarah and Tom's marriage.
Confusion reigns, lol!
