I am also interested in the Markey family from Taynton and connected to
John Markey b1829 and his wife Ellen Green b 1831 Newent.
I did try searching at Cinderford Library for the original newspaper article but without any luck. I do however have an article from the Forest Review from 2005 where they told the story and produced a photo of Ellen Hayward.
