Transcript of Dean Forest Mercury report of the inquest of George Matthews, The Plump, Mitcheldean published on March 26th. 1915 - gruesome as it is, and a photo of his headstone at Holy Trinity Church (Forest Church), Drybrook. It had been removed from his grave and until recently was cast aside and lying flat on its face.
