William ROBERTS 1824 revisited (General)

Several researchers have the spouse of William Roberts b1824, son of William Roberts and Ann Barnard, as being Ann.

However, I suspect he married Susannah Roberts, daughter of George and Hannah. Unfortunately the marriage transcription (or possibly original entry) appears dubious, citing both groom and bride as living at "Hendus" and both having father William, collier.

William and Susannah (indexed Susanna L, actual has Susannah)appear in 1851 census, next door to George and Hannah Roberts, living Henders Road

Another William Roberts, married to Ann, in 1851 -

Yet another William Roberts on 1851 census is unmarried, son of Susan, Bradley Hill.

Has anyone further info to help prove/disprove my conclusions?

Thanks, Slowhands, I must have been reading prior postings and missed those you've directed me to! I had been in touch with Jim Ashton about this, but still seem to be going round in circles. Double humble pie and apologies for time wasting!
Cheers
