Clearwell cemetry (General)

Jenkins Clearwell

Many of my family are buried in Clearwell cemetry.

The memorials at the rear of the chapel of rest have been removed, I therefore have no indication of where my ancestors are buried.

Does anyone have any records (maps) of Clearwell cemetry?

Any help would be appreciated

Regards

Tony Jenkins

The Gloucestershire Family History Society's Forest of Dean Branch have chosen to record Clearwell MI's as their project this summer, as some of the gravestones are in such a poor state.

As Hon Sec of the above Branch, I approached the Vicar, and was assured that there is no plan and never has been a plan of the churchyard.

Members of the Forest of Dean Society have already started the mapping of the churchyard and recording the MI's.

As with all Family History Projects including this site's Transcription Project, Volunteers are always welcome.

May,

I'm not sure how you plan to do this, but I would be interested in learning more about your project and/or assisting with the transcription or recording of the MI's.

Thank you.
