Hello Alison, Sorry for late reply, have been on hols. Caroline White was a sister of my gt. grandmother, Mary White, who married James Cavander in Cinderford, 1862. Am in contact with a gt. grand-daughter of Caroline and Charles here in Yorkshire. The Whites were of some standing in the Forest, one of them being head keeper of the Forest in the late 18th-early 19th century, living at Latimer Lodge, Cinderford where many of the White clan appear to have been born.
