Redbrook (General)

If it was Lower Redbrook down by the Wye its pretty much a one road village - which is today call Redbrook Road.

Then there is the road back up to Newland and Coleford, under the old railway line, which I'm struggling to name but could easily be known as West Dean road or Newland Road or ....

In 1901 I can find 2 Pearce's in Newland - John Valentine Pearce from Itton and Louise Pearce, both are living near the Ostrich in Newland, rather than down the valley in Redbrook - just wonder if this helps point towards the route from Lower Redbrook up to Newland as being "west Dean" Road....
