Can anyone tell me what Shutcastle Lodge was about 1865. Mary Morgan resided there when she died 9.6.1865.

Jo wrote (June 2007): "This is a photograph of my great great grandfather Thomas Dobson Cowles (born Dec 1850), father of George Tom Cowles who was born 5th May 1874. A farm labourer, he lived in Shutcastle, Bream and was married to Susan, Annie (nee Tyrrell)".

Hi Chris,
I had a look at the photo but unfortunately I cannot find what Shutcastle Lodge was. I wondered if it was the workhouse.
