VAUGHAN, George b.1862 in Tintern (General)

Hi, having read the thread about children of Emma Vaughan, could someone clear up something that is confusing me. The marriage record for George Vaughan and Emily Harper states his father's name as William, but it seems that this might have been his grandfather if he was the illegitimate son of Emma!

Any clarification would be gratefully received.
