Ann BLEWETT 1851 (General)

Thank you - sorry its taken so long to get back to you - we are 12 hours ahead in time so as you sleep we work!! The information is great - I will have to sift through it all - unfortunately from a quick glance some of it does not seem to fit - however everything will be looked at under the "microscope" it would have helped if Fred and Frank had talked about their "roots" which they did not....we do know that Fred played Rugby for either Swansea or Cardiff and was "capped". Also that he worked in the mines and left for New Zealand in 1910 from London bound for Lyttleton - Frank we have no idea he was in the mines too and came out here a couple of years later but he spelt his name Blewett where as mine (Freds son) is spelt Blewitt (same family) there was something about patent medicieces and they changed the spelling so that the Patent would not be attributed to another William that lived in Cinderford - which might add to the mix of things..........oh to be simple then it would not be so much fun.....
