Well Gypsy Rose we are related. Caleb Matthews was my G Grandfather. His daughter Blanche Matthews would later marry Henry Probert.

Slowhands is correct; Caleb was involved in a pit accident, his leg was crushed and he died of his injuries some weeks later. I will add a picture of Annie Cale to the photo gallery in case you have no photos. I also have a picture of one of the Matthews in the first world war.
