Yorkshire link - Edwin POLLARD 1878 (General)

It is unusual in the fact that the migration is from Yorkshire to FOD, usually the other way round. Featherstone is, or was a large mining community before the pit closures. So many Foresters arrived in the area they outnumbered the natives. Regards Jean Herbert (the Northerner)
