Nice idea ianfhoyle but not practical. As an example, I had thought my own efforts at creating trees for various branches of the family were correct, but after comparing my information with other researchers I am prepared to admit that there were some outstanding errors. It would need an administrator working 24 hours a day to sort it all out, not to mention arbitrating between researchers who are convinced that their version is the correct one. I am willing to exchange information with anyone who has the same names in their tree as in mine but would be reluctant to post it on this site as I would not wish to mislead anyone should I have got it wrong. It is so frustrating to go down the wrong branch, and then at some point find you have made a mistake. Regards Jean Herbert
