Thank you very much to you both. I did not know about this particular northern migration until I saw the address on the census. It would seem that a lot of our so called "Yorkshire" pit villages were populated by the Foresters. I believe a lot of people in the areas would be suprised to find that their ancestors were from the Forest and not Yorkshire. Good job they all learned our language. Oh, and by the way, I have now lost Edwin/Edward's twin brother. I wonder if he arrived here as well.
