Edward HOOPER and Lettice/Letitia BROOKS (General)
I cannot find Edward or Letitia in the 1841 census. I believe they had at least 3 children - Thomas (1834), Edward (1836) and Ann (1838). In the 1841 census I found an Edward Hooper (aged 5) living in Northgate Street, St. Mary Le Crypt, Gloucester with the family of a John Green, and an Ann Hooper (aged 3) living in Park Butts, Kidderminster with the family of a William Clewes, but I am not sure if they are the right Edward and Ann.
I have no idea when or where Edward died. His son Thomas married Sarah Smith in 1858 in Ross and on the transcripted marriage details Edward Hooper is listed as the father of the groom. It did not mention that he was deceased so I presume he was still alive in 1858.
Thank you for your prompt information regarding Letitia. I will certainly look into that.
