Thelma (Peggy) PARRY 1926 Parkend

information on 1901 confirms the marriage of Catherine Ann Parry nee Stanley to William Parry.

Information on the 1891 Census confirms the birth of Catherine Ann Stanley.

On Catherine Anns' birth certificate her mothers name is declared as Catherine Harris born 1855 (81 census born in Caerleon 91 census born in Newchurch)

I cannot find a marriage between William Stanley and Catherine Harris. abt 1877
I assume they got married as 13th December 1896 William remarried Sarah Lewis. He declared himself as a widower.

I cannot find a death record for Catherine Stanley between 1891 and 1896

I would like to establish

1. When william Stanley married Catherine Harris?
2. When Catherine Stanley (nee Harris) died?
3. If Catherine Parry divorced William Parry
4. When did William Parry die (I believe between 1946 and 1956)
5. Did Catherine Ann Parry marry Frank Phipps?
6. When did Frank Phipps die (He is buried in St Johns Parkend - died between 1933 and 1940)

The information on Frank Phipps corresponds with what the family have told me but they cannot give me the information above.

Any help would be much appreciated.

PARRY - PHIPPS Parkend ?

by tonyjenkins @, Monday, June 30, 2008, 11:23 (5999 days ago) @ slowhands

Scratching my head!!!

There may be some link to Broadwell. I believe my mother went to school there in 1931 (for about 6 mths)

I believe there was a Phipps family in the Broadwell area at that time.

I recall seeing a school picture somewhere of Broadwell with what could have been my mother (front row right)

I probably need to check with Glos archieve if this is correct and ask for name of guardian?

Could Frank be his middle name could he be buried at St Johns Parkend under his first name?

Regards

Tony

Re. the item on the residents of The Square, Park End. The occupant of No. 20, Mrs. Williams could well be a relative of mine. Where did you obtain your information? The Williams family were certainly living in 20, The Square in 1916. I am eager to trace family members, descendants, or any one who might have known them or know about them. John and Elizabeth Williams had 7 children: Elizabeth, Mary, Florence, Eva, George, Fanny and Thomas.
