Jenkins - Newland (General)

The LDS web sites includes a reference to a christening for Thomas Jenkins - Newland SO Evan and Ann on 8/12/1709.

I cannot find reference to Thomas's christening in our parish records could this be a oversight or do I need to question the LDS record?
