Hi
In my efforts to trace my great grandmother Catherine POWELL , I saw , in an entry for the baptism of her daughter, Agnes SElina POWELL(in 1884 at Bishopswood Baptist Church)the phrase "mother Catherine POWELL late of Ruardean" I havent found a burial entry for her in the parish records and wondered if anyone could suggest anything else I could do totrace it

HI
Many thanks again to slowhands for all the work he puts in to help me trace Catherine.AS well as the one he has found there are three others that are likely candidates and I am listing them in the hope that someone can help me eliminate them or give more information about them
FirstlyCatherine POWELL born 1854 Madely Hereford Her family went to Australia in 1873 but she wasn`t with them
Secondly, Catherine Blanche POWELL born 1860 Monmouth
Thirdly Catherine POWELL baptised 1862 at Upton Bishop. It seems that She was too young to have had my grandmother(born 1874) but perhaps 1862 wasn`t the year of her birth.
I have more details for the first two but nothing else for the third
Apologies for the length of the message
Sylvia
