Boat Inn, Goodrich / Glewstone (General)

by slowhands @, proud of his ancient Dean Forest roots, Thursday, August 14, 2008, 21:37 (5954 days ago) @ kiwiceltic

I'll try to dig out some more detail later today, could be nearer Glewstone than Goodrich...

Today Boat Lane comes from Glewstone village down to the River Wye, however the A40 dual carriageway has been built here, a few buildings remain on the side of the river where Boat Inn/ Boat House stood ( according to Old Maps)

If you Google Maps - Glewstone "Boat Lane" you can get a satellite image to check..
