James THORN WILLIAMS 1865 - Sun Cottage

Hiram Thorn and family lived at Sun Cottage, Tidenham, bought by his father Samuel Thorn in 1820. When Hiram died in 1910 it passed to his daughter Louisa Thorn and her husband James Henry Nicholas, they had no children. James Henry Nicholas was previously married to Louisas sister Eliza Thorn who died in 1901, they also had no children. James Henry Nicholas died in 1925, Louisa remained there until her death in 1946, at which point it was sold.
