Wintles in Taynton (General)
Hi Dave,
Many thanks for replying to my query. I have checked my tree and although I cannot find any details of Elizabeth W marrying John Poyner in 1744, I have found Thomas, son of Isaac Wintle, married to Mary in 1874. This is not my 'branch' however, and tracing that whole line back our common ancestor is John Wintle buried 22nd Dec 1699 at Huntley, married to Mary, buried 1685 Huntley. THey had 3 sons, Joseph, b.1665 (my line), Thomas , buried 1704(your line), Alice and Mary.
Hope this is of some help, let me know if you would like a copy of the 'tree'
Regards,
Di
