Thomas Cook c1800 (General)

Can any one help me find the marrage details of the above. records show he married a betty but - there are two marrage entrys for a thomas cook in 1820 and 1822 both to an elizabeth my thomas had a son james in 1828 any sujestions or guidance? with thanks in anticipation Alan

It is difficult to prove conclusively but my guess based on location and social environment would be the marriage in 1820 at Abenhall (the 1822 marriage being at Ross on Wye).

James was baptised at Ruardean Independent. Ruardean only being a few miles from Abenahall but Ross on Wye being a considerable distance further.
