William Powell b1915 d1985 seeking relatives (General)

I'm looking for my Grandad (and his side of the family). Unfornately looking for a William Powell in the FoD is a needle in a haystack dilema. I'm stuck and I'm not sure where to go from here.

Here's what I do know:
Born 29/11/1915
Died November 1985
Sisters May and Lilian
Married Patricia Carter
Lived in Littledean
