Hi Sylvia
I hope you don't mind me responding to this message, but I've been searching for Christopher James & Harriet (Jones). They married in All Saints, Viney Hill in 1877 and then seemed to disappear from - well the UK altogether.
My tree is from Christopher's sister, Editha Henrietta. Do you know what happened to Christopher and Harriet?
By the way I have Harriet's parents and Henry Jones (born 1818) & Johanna (nee Price, born 1823). Is that correct?

slowhands, again you've amazed me. I really hadn't thought they'd had any children in the UK. I don't know how you do it! Thank you very much.

Paul, Thank you so much. It's such a relief to know what happened to them. I can't thank you enough. It's obviously them. And children too. This is wonderful.
I am so grateful to the Forest of Dean Family History. This site is absolutely brilliant.
Paul thank you again.
Kindest regards
Mary
