We will be keeping this Web site specific to the Forest of Dean and will only
continue including parish records of Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Monmouthshire
that border with the Forest but not other parts of these counties.

Like the name of this Web site indicates, we specialise in the area of the
Forest of Dean and we will keep adding material, answering queries and assisting
the best we can the researchers who have Forest ancestors.

Keeping to people and places connected in some way to the Forest of Dean or near
by bordering places is I believe one of the reason why this site is unique
amongst other family history sites. A very friendly and helpful community of
visitors has developed of which I am proud to be a part of and I thank you all
