My Great Uncle Grantley John Briscoe does not appear on any memorial.
His next of kin - his brother, who lived in Chepstow and was in the war for 3 years after Grantley was killed - failed to complete and return the official form
allowing his information to be used. Grantley enlisted before WW1 and served for some time in Gibraltar in the Royal Garrison Artillery.
